Traditional jasmine tea is made from fresh Pouchong leaves picked in early spring, which are stored until late summer when fresh jasmine flowers bloom. The tea is hand-rolled into pearls. The resulting flavor of jasmine tea is subtly sweet, highly fragrant, and perfect for multiple infusions. Be cautious of cheap imitations! Many grades of Jasmine Pearls feature lower-quality tea and craftsmanship. These may appear dull, somewhat rough, and less tightly rolled.
